I recorded this one in 2006. It tells the story of a Highschool romance – from it’s beautiful beginning to its inevitable demise. I made this back when I was a PA – I used to borrow CDs from the reality show’s music library to use as samples for the background instruments. So you might recognize a track from a sofa commercial or Real Housewives or something. One day I just might make a sequel. Until than – enjoy the original!
Hey everybody. Here is the latest Bubblegum Best album. Give it a listen, and if you want a physical copy (with a beautiful booklet by artist- Ellen Flaherty) just hang out with me and I will hand it to you.
Here it is, listeners….the season finale (yes, my seasons have only five episodes) of The Dork and the Demon. A handful of you have your guesses as to who my partner in podcast crime is, and the wait is over!

In this one we discuss the good and the bad of 80s sci-fi and horror rip offs. We also tackle the new bad Star Wars movies, jerking off to videos as a teenager (yeah, we discuss it), and our take on youth culture. It’s all there.
Here’s some images to help you on your Dork and the Demon journey…
Starship…can you tell what it’s ripping off. Um…Yes you can.
This is Cemetery of Terror….kind of a mishmash rip off of every American horror movie of the 80s. If you are patient with subtitles this would be amazing for a Halloween night movie-athon since its thick with fog, full of every Halloween cliches, and one of the little kids wears an MJ jacket the whole time (MJ =Michael Jackson FYI)
This is Devlon. Such a cool name…such a mean guy.
Jaws – never heard of it. Great White Death. Yup. That’s a classic.
My favorite rip off – Slumber Party Massacre !! Written by a feminist. Directed by someone who likes butts a lot. ;)
On this episode of THE DORK AND THE DEMON — we discuss our top ten personal favorite horror movies of the ’00s.

Here’s a new song for the next Mimpleton Meets Gimpleton album. It’s in its early stages, so it might change a little bit. I’m mostly posting it for Seth, the other half of MMG, to get a listen and see what he thinks. (Hi, Seth. Call me or email me about it, Man.) Seth and I are in separate states doing this one. Me in California, and he in Minnesota. Glad we still have the band together even if we’re not outside of a barn during a party playing for cute girls. So click the word below to hear:

This time it’s all about obscure vampire flicks on VHS. Listen!
Here’s a gallery of images that relate to the podcast:
Here’s the first video discussed. Highly Recommended Cheese-tastic stuff!
Here’s a picture of ZOLTAN: Dracula’s Dog ! Yes, even dogs can be vampires. Just look at those chompers.
Witch Board 2: One of the trailers before Zoltan. Remember this cover from when you were a kid glancing through the video store. It’s a doozy! Much better than the movie, but that’s the way it usually goes.
And here’s the holographic image of the pink power ranger from the video of COLD HEARTS. Not as cool as if you look at the actual cover and watch this Felicity co-star morph into a vampire. But you get the jest of it. AGAIN: Cover A + MOVIE: D.
(PS- if you listen to the podcast all of these images will be in context. ENJOY!)

Here’s more comic swap material. This is from the comic – OMG. It’s page 20, so it isn’t going to make any sense at all…but it might be more fun that way. On the page prior (which my cousin wrote and drew) our main character was transported by a time machine (?) but not before a bunch of vigilantes machine gunned the equipment. So here we are….page 20. BOOM!
